lessons based on the “peer-to-peer” principle
Trainers from the “Rights & Prosperity” trained inmates to interactive methods of transfer of information as well as to contact and communication features. Following this training active participants have independently organized and conducted lessons on the rights of vulnerable children for 6-, 7- and 8-form pupils from orphanages of Vakhsh, Jaloliddin Rumi, Vose and Temurmalik regions.
Lessons were conducted during non-school hours. During the lessons inmates have reviewed the rights of vulnerable children in such spheres as education, governmental foster care, employment, right to housing, succession, alimony, medical services.
Participants of lessons based on the “peer-to-peer” principle liked easy and free education environment, interactive methods of teaching and an opportunity to express their views thanks to which all the participants took part in the discussion of all issues.Following the lesson children asked their senior pupils to organize and conduct additional lessons to discuss the aforementioned rights in details.
