Organization’s history

The “Rights & Prosperity” non-governmental organization has obtained registration with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan on August 14, 1998 as a public non-profit organization. Since its foundation the organization has managed to pass through two re-registration processes:

On June 6, 2000, it was re-registered as International Human Rights Charitable Organization “Rights and Prosperity”
On December 24, 2007, it was re-registered as International Public Organization “Rights and Prosperity”

The “Rights & Prosperity” organization strives for the development via rights-based and participatory approaches. All people have equal rights to happy life and implementation of potential.
The organization tends to work with poor and vulnerable people helping them protect and defend their rights as well as to improve their participation in democratization process and scaling their social status up.
The overall goal of the organization is to improve the quality of life of the poor, vulnerable and socially marginalized citizens.
