- Training on democratic principles for making decisions by the poor and socially excluded citizens for achievement of their social and economic rights.
- Attraction of governmental bodies to protection of women’s rights”. The project activity was aimed at social partnership between governmental bodies and non-governmental organizations for resolution of problems connected with violence against women in target regions.
- Rising the role and participation of penitentiary institutions in securing the rights of prisoners”. The project was aimed to raise the level of awareness of officials of 11 penitentiary institutions and prosecutor offices in Dushanbe, Javan and Vakhdat regions, Nurek city, Kurgon-Teppa area and Khatlon District in the sphere of international and national legislation on the rights of prisoners as well as in the sphere of specific rights of women and children, advocating the opportunity for available legal assistance in the field of rights of prisoners for prisoners and their relatives, assistance in establishing the Code of officers of penitentiary institutions and renewal of mechanisms aimed at securing human rights by officers of these services, including women and children, through establishment of internal instructions.
- Advocating the rights of socially vulnerable and socially excluded children”. The joint activity of the Parliament of the Republic, the “Rights & Prosperity” organization, ministries of education, labor and social protection of the population resulted in: recommendations to reform care and guardianship services; the draft law “On children’s rights in Tajikistan” has been designed together with a group of deputies of the Parliament and was submitted to the Commission on the rights of the child under the Government of Tajikistan; consulting and legal services were provided to juveniles, their representatives and government officials working in the system of children’s rights.
- The “Transparency and accountability development” programme allowed to raise potential of ordinary citizens and local officials from 8 jamoats via trainings (for community members, their activists, youth and women) on expression and protection of their rights with the use of existing system of appeals; increase the number of considered appeals; together with the ministry of justice of Tajikistan design and distribute a reference book with description of the rights and duties of governmental structures and citizens in the functioning of the public appeals mechanism.
