ACT CA-funded “Raising the role and participation of governmental and public organizations in practical provision of the rights of orphans and social orphans”
Period: October 2005 – September 2007.
Target regions: Hissar, Rudaki, Javan, Bokhtar, Shaartuz, Muminobod, Shurobod, Vosse, Jaloliddin Rumi, Dangara, Khuroson.
Goal: raise the role and participation of workers of guardianship and care bodies, juvenile commissions, committees for women and family affairs, workers of jamoats, active citizens of jamoats, juvenile inspectors from local police departments, officers of juvenile departments under prosecutor offices, workers of NGOs operating in target regions in practical observance of the rights of orphans and social orphans.
Oxfam The Netherlands-led Novib project “Raising legal potential of participants of legal land relationship”
Period: October 2004 – September 2007.
Target regions: Shahrinav, Hissar, Shaartuz, Muminobod, Kolkhozobod, Khovaling, Shurobod, Vosse, Khuroson, Javan, Nurek, Faizobod, Jiliqul
Goal: “Contribute to the development and strengthening of potential of farmers in the field of legal land relationships and motivate them to make decisions”.
Joint UNDP and Agroinvestbonk JSC-led project “Public mechanism of appeals at local level”
Period: 1 August 2007 - 15 December 2007.
Target regions: Vakhdat, Baljuvan, Jolaliddin Rumi and Shakhrituz
Goal: Advocating establishment of the public appeals mechanism to improve transparency and accountability in human rights sector
CIDA-funded “Strengthening of participation of women in commercial activity (income generating activity) in agriculture” project
Period: 1 September 2006 – 31 June 2007
Target regions:
Muminobod, Faizobod, Shurobod, Khovaling
Goal: Development of involvement of women in agricultural regions into commercial activity not connected with cultivation of cotton.
ACT CA-funded “Advocating the rights of socially vulnerable and marginalized children” project
Period: 1 October 2007 – 30 September 2008
Target regions: Dushanbe, Varzob, Hissar, Vakhdat, Rudaki.
Goal: The following tasks to be achieved as a result of adoption of the law “On equal rights and socio-economic opportunities”:
- The works of all governmental and public institutions dealing with provision and promotion of the rights of socially excluded and socially vulnerable children to be coordinated at the legislative level.
- Rights and guarantees of these children will be fixed in a single legal source. This will significantly ease the work of structures dealing with children’s rights.
- The law will take into consideration suggestions of practitioners, thus, excluding law failure in the future. Gender aspect will also be underlined.
- According to the law, children’s rights will become the duty of government officials and the state.
- The statute on care and guardianship bodies will become a guidebook for both observation of children’s rights and legally vested coordination between related bodies.

Joint FAO/UNIFEM/CIDA “Provision of food security and raise of living level through institutional land reform focusing on gender” project
Subproject on mobilization of groups of farmers (men/women)
Period: 15 December 2007 – 15 May 2008.
Target regions: Vakhdat
Goal: Improvement of welfare of members of mobilized groups through support of households by agricultural services and effective use of land.
ACT CA-funded “Orphans in Tajikistan – equal owners of rights and opportunities” project
Period: 1 November 2008 – October 2009
Target regions: Jaloliddin Rumi, Vakhsh, Vosse, Temurmalik.
Goal: “Contribute to establishment of platform for dialogue with the government and making decisions by orphans and social orphans in promotion of rights”.
