The overall goal of the meeting was to discuss the prospects of introduction of changes into the article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On licensing of separate types of activity” in terms of reduction of the list of types of activity subject to licensing.
So far the working group is preparing proposals for the government of the Republic of Tajikistan on reduction of the list of types of activity subject to licensing. Each type of activity will have its rationale, which will serve as a reason for exemption of that or another type of activity from licensing procedure. The move will let reduce temporal and financial costs for business.
