On 26 August, 2009, Rights & Prosperity international public organization hosted a meeting of Act CA partner organizations where the prospects of establishment of public chambers and initiation of arbitrages in target regions were discussed. The meeting was conducted in the frameworks of the DFID-led “Stimulation of development of civil society to support marginal and vulnerable population” project.

Act CA’s Program Officer on Accountable Governance and Gender, representatives from such partner organizations as ASDP Nau, Ruhafzo, ASTI and Mehrangez NGO have attended the meeting. The participants have familiarized with the “Public Chambers development concept in Tajikistan” based on the results of researches and proposals provided by the target group. The participants have also discussed opportunities for initiation of arbitrages in regions. Partners have elaborated recommendations for improvement of activity and attraction of all stakeholders into the process of establishment of Public Chambers and initiation of arbitrage courts.
