On April 14, 2009, the international public organization Rights & Prosperity hosted a workshop in the frameworks of the “Stimulation of development of effective civil society to support marginal and vulnerable population and ensure accountability of communities, local and national authorities” project.

The goal of the workshop was to discuss the results of recent research on the participation of citizens in the governance process and cooperation with the authorities as well as elaboration of recommendations for improvement of administrative procedures. The event brought together local authorities from target regions, representatives of international and national public organizations dealing with community development and effective governance.
